Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, for all 2019 Grand List tax bills sent in June 2020, other than real estate tax bills paid through escrow, the interest-free grace period is being automatically extended from August until October 1, 2020. If your tax bill is not paid through escrow (i.e. paid by your bank), the due date is effectively extended to October 1, 2020.
Tax payments and assessment filings may be made inside, weekdays from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Town Hall will remain locked. Taxpayers will be allowed to entire from the back double doors in limited numbers. All visitors inside Town Hall must wear a mask. Taxes may also be paid online at the Town's website. You may also place payments or documents in the drop box near the handicapped entrance to Town Hall. Please write your name and phone number on your envelope and seal your envelope. Do not put cash in the drop box. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Most questions can be answered by reading the information found on our website www.townofmanchester.org. Most transactions can be completed online, in the mail, or over the phone.
